Predictive
Snow Melting
Controller
Preemptively launch your snow melting or roof deicing
system with StormSense, based on real weather data.
Predictive Snow Melting
StormSense watches the weather at your exact location and pre-heats your slab or roof before snow ever arrives. When flakes start falling, it hands control back to your Heatizon sensor for precise, automatic operation.
App Controlled
Manage StormSense from anywhere with the Heatizon app, or connect locally over Wi-Fi for direct control.
Available for iOS & Android
StormSense Features
Built on secure, cloud-connected hardware, StormSense adds forecasting intelligence to every Heatizon snow and ice sensor.
Real-time Weather Updates
StormSense continuously tracks incoming weather for your precise location, calculating a rate-derived head start so your system is warm before the first flake falls. Forecast data updates automatically — no manual checking required.
Multiple Data Points
StormSense weighs multiple points in the forecast rather than a single reading, so pre-heat timing stays accurate as conditions change. That means fewer false starts and heat exactly when the storm arrives
On-Demand Activation
Switch between Forced Heat, Standby, or Automatic control right from the app, whenever you want. Real relay monitoring confirms exactly when your system is actually heating.
Enhances Your Automatic Sensor
StormSense works alongside your existing Heatizon snow and ice sensor, compatible with the M326 and M432 series. It pre-heats ahead of the storm, then hands off to your sensor’s automatic control the moment snow is detected.
Dynamic Location
Set your exact address and StormSense tailors every forecast and pre-heat cycle to that location. Manage multiple properties with per-device provisioning through the cloud.
User-Friendly
Plug-and-play power and sensor connections mean setup takes minutes, not hours. On-board event logging and the Heatizon app keep you informed of every heat call, automatic or manual.
